Merry Christmas

 We did a sketch of a Christmas tree. We made a google doc and wrote a poem and then the teacher printed our poem. We cut our Christmas tree out and glued it on our poem. I hope you like my poem.

Art term 4

This term we have completed two pieces of art.

One was inspired by an artist named Kadinsky who used coloured circles in his work. We looked at the contrast between warm and cool colours and the black and white of the buildings.

One thing I did well was my background.

Some things I could improve on is my bulidings. I need to make my lines straighter.

Greats and Grands day

Last week we had our Greats and Grands day. We wrote poems for our grandparents. Here is my poem about why my grandparents are so special. I read it out loud to all the grandparents.

                                                                                I got 34 out of 60.

Procedural writing - Bang Bang

This term, we have been learning how to do procedural writing. This is my writing about a game called bang bang that we learnt with Miss Toia.

A bunch of people

Space to spread out in a circle

Rules

1. You need a person in the middle of the circle
2. The person in the middle has to say a name of a person in the circle.
3. If your name is said, you duck down quickly and the people on each side of you have to try and “shoot” eachother by making guns with their hand and yelling BANG! First.
4. If you are not fast enough to shoot, and you get shot first, you are out and have to sit down.
5. The game carries on until there are only 2 players left in the circle.
6. When there are only 2 players left, players go back to back and start walking away from each other.
7. When the caller yells GO!, the players must turn around and shoot each other. The fastest one wins.
